NUPEC is selecting students to join the Translation Laboratory of the Research Center for Education and Cyberculture — LABTEC, an extension project approved under Public Call CPEx 005/2026–DG/DEX.
LABTEC is a network-based project with international reach, bringing together participants from the IFPA, IFPB, and New York University — NYU. Its activities involve academic translation, proofreading and scientific editing, digital media management, student training, and public science communication.
Available positions:
🌐 1 translator + reserve list;
📝 1 editor-proofreader + reserve list;
📱 2 digital media management + reserve list.
Students enrolled in integrated high school, technical programs, or undergraduate courses at IFPA and IFPB, as well as undergraduate students at NYU, are eligible to apply.
Workload:
• High school or technical students: 5 hours per week;
• Undergraduate students: 10 hours per week.
The selection process will have two stages: document analysis: 30% and interview.
The application will require a résumé, academic transcript, availability, statement of interest, and indication of the candidate’s social media profiles. The analysis will consider only publicly available content related to the skills required for the position.

Activities begin on August 17 and run until December 31, 2026. Participation will initially be voluntary and may be certified upon completion of the work plan.
